Sheringham Celebrations, Friday 9th
We’ve had some tired children in Sheringham these least few days. Judging by the chatter in class, I don’t think it is just because it is almost the end of term! Well done England; I’m sure it’s coming home!
Other than our nation’s footballers, we have a few other people to celebrate this week.
Layla, congratulations on being the only person to gain a Tackling Tables certificate:
A few children have been working hard at home and brought in some great homework, full of creativity.
Well done to Summer, who has been busy growing plants and drawing pictures. I loved your photos!
Brilliant work too from Brody, who has made a great Greek temple, with some help from Jack and Grandad.
Sheringham have been loving our Science work this half-term.
Layla has been going over the names and functions of plant parts.
In class, we didn’t have much success at first with seeing our plants change colour when we added dye. However, we persevered and this week we had success! We started off with a white flower and after adding some purple dye, the petals and leaves changed. Here is a reminder:
In Maths, we have been looking at different types of lines. We learnt a song to help us remember: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3AOoLbA3us
Well done to all in Sheringham who have worked hard over the week. Not much longer to go!
Have a great weekend,
