Well done Winterton! A celebration of week beginning Monday 26th April
Before I say anything else I must apologise for completely forgetting our Friday blog! We have been so busy that it slipped my mind. I’ll try not to let it happen again.
But here we are now. So far we have been learning about electricity, volcanoes, ration and proportion, decimals, Futurism, writing reports on unicorns and other flying horses, the Jabberwocky and how to tell someone our name and age in French, knowing the vocabulary for things we can find in the classroom – again in French – and we have a lot more learning still to do before half term!
We have had fun drawing what we imagine the characters to look like in the poem ‘Jabberwocky’ by Lewis Carroll.
Here is some of our work:
I need to say well done to a few people in particular this week:
Grace for making a presentation about volcanoes; Isla for writing a report on electricity; Kai and Kylie for hard work in maths, learning about decimals with Miss Shelbourne, on Wednesday; and Amanda for her peer coaching also in maths.
Don’t forget it is Bank Holiday on Monday, so we’ll see on back in school on Tuesday 5th May.
Have a lovely weekend
