Our week in Snettisham Class (23-4-21)
This week in Snettisham Class we have been learning all about ABC, ABB and ABBC patterns. We’ve been reading and performing our Talk 4 Writing story, which is The Enormous Turnip. In Phonics, we have been learning to read and write words with the phonemes (sounds) v, w, x and y in them.
We have been digging and weeding the flower bed ready for planting seed. We have been exploring the front garden and even found a huge worm. We made patterns when we were playing with the crates. We made a beach with real waves in our water tray. We made a town in the Small World Area with a railway, a road and shops to visit.
Our ‘reader of the week’ this week is Charlie for amazing expression and pace. Our Writer of the week is Callum for fantastic work in Phonics and Continuous Provision/ Finally, we have Cayson who is our Mathematician of the week for incredible PowerMaths work with Mrs Grey.
What a brilliant week we have had in the sunshine.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
