Congratulations Winterton for all the great learning many of you have done this half term! We are now half way through your final year at Greyfriars. Thank you to all of you that have been in school. You have worked really well, behaved sensibly and haven’t moaned about having to be here at all!!
If you are behind with your learning, now is the time to catch up. Next week is half term so there will be no blog until the week beginning Monday 22nd February, leaving you the whole week free to catch up on whatever you need to. If you haven’t been sending me your literacy and numeracy work every day, go back to each week’s Monday blog and see what you need to do.
It is important you do not miss chunks of your learning as you will need the knowledge for High School in about 28 weeks!
Back to this week.
Here are some photos of our fun in the snow!
Firstly, we have our snowman that Winterton Lockdown bubble made and some photos of us outdoors; then we have a photo of Isla and Colin (who is being very responsible and wearing a mask!)
I hope you have managed to have some fun in the snow.
After the half term holiday we will be doing some live lessons. We will begin with a register each day, then move onto our numeracy lesson, then our literacy lesson. You will be expected to attend each lesson! Watch out for the blog on Monday 22nd February for the times these lessons will happen and for more details. I will send you an invite through Teams and the invitation will pop up on your screen. I am really looking forward to seeing you all again! Tell your parents to look out for a message from school giving them more details.
Here is a short video saying exactly what I would say if I could!
Have a lovely break ready to start our live lessons next half term.
