Sheringham Celebrations, 5th February

Hello Sheringham,

I hope you have had a great first week of February. To those that are not able to be in school at this time, it has been fantastic to speak to many of you on the phone. I have also loved receiving your work. Thank you; please keep sending it!

We’ll start our celebrations with those that have received certificates.

A number are working really hard on their tackling tables. A special congratulations to Daisy, Victor, Emma, Rokas and Layla who have all received certificates this week.

A huge well done to Layla, who has now completed almost every piece of work from the homework grid. In Sheringham we have been in awe of how hard she continually works. She constantly goes above and beyond. Layla has every right to look very proud with her award.

This is some of the great homework she has produced this week:

This next achievement is not for school work, but it is for some-one in our class who has worked really hard and received his Red Belt. Oscar, many congratulations from everyone in Sheringham! You look very smart! We look forward to you showing us a few of your moves when you return to school.

A number of pupils do some work from a site called Lexia. A shout out has to go to April, who has not only done what is expected, but has achieved so much more. Great to see April!

The following children have been working on Education City this week.

Work on dragons continues to be just as popular. Have a look at some of the dragon eyes children in Sheringham have made from clay.

I love Eden’s picture of Toothless the dragon:

If you are following our Topic work, you will know a good deal of information about Chinese New Year. Oscar has done some research and completed a lovely poster.

A fantastic achievement from so many of you this week. Enjoy your weekend, so that you are ready for one more week of great work before the half-term holiday.

Mrs Moyle
