This week we are looking at Little Red Riding Hood’s diary and how we can think about the diaries that other characters might have written.  I’ve done all of this week’s lessons as powerpoints so that I can send them home for children who need them printing out.  If you need me to email it to you, just say!  I’ve included the diary and the checklist as individual sheets as well so that they are bigger.

Reception – today, can you write a sentence (with your grownup!) about how you felt when you saw the wolf? Remember you are being the Woodcutter, so you need to use “I”.

Here’s mine!

“When I saw the wolf, I thought he was very big and I was a bit scared.”

Your Woodcutter might have felt differently to mine though.  Let me know!

Reception – your work today is to look at your sentence from yesterday.  Can you add another sentence to it to say what you did?

Here’s mine!

“When I saw the wolf, I thought he was very big and I was a bit scared.  I knew I had to save Red Riding Hood though, so I shouted really loudly and ran towards him to see if he would run away!”

Don’t forget, you have EducationCity and BugClub work to log into as well.

Any problems, let me know s.cook@gf.kwestacademy.com

Take care (and wash your hands!)
