Thank you Winterton! (Friday 15th Jan.)
I must start by saying how pleased I am with all the work that you are sending in. Some of you have been really good and have sent in every piece of work for each day, every day. Some of you have not got that much sent over. Don’t worry – next week will be your week to crack it!
I keep all the work you send in and put it in a file with your name on, so I can see who has sent what work in each week. I then keep a register of all the work (a bit the the homework chart that goes up in the classroom) so I can see easily who has done what.
This week I have had work from:
Kimberley, Lillymay, Isla, Grace, Amanda, Leon, Theo, Arminas, Emilijus, Klevi, Evelyn, Stephanie, Gracie, Erin, Enija, Joanna, Sophie, Noah, Madalin and Azuolas! I have not had Brodie’s work yet but I know I will have the whole week’s work by the end of the day. A big thanks goes out to all of you and give yourselves a big pat on the back.
This is just a small amount of the work I have had this week.
There has been a wonderful selection of art work sent in:
Some people have not sent in every piece of work, but I’m sure you will send more next week.
I’ve checked Education City this week. Well done to those who have done their reading work. Joanna, Grace, Azuolas, Amber, Brodie, Theo, and Kenzie. Well done to those who have done their GPS work. Isla and Kenzie who have completed it; and Joanna, Grace, Arminas, Brodie, Theo and Evelyn who are working on it. Finally, well done to those who have done their maths work. Brodie, who has completed it; and Joanna, Isla, Grace, Lily, Theo, Kenzie and Evelyn who are working on it. The GPS and maths are both assessments so they will stay in class work until you have completed them.
An email was sent to one of your parents this week about the PowerMaths website, telling you how to log in to it. Ask them to check their messages. I will put the information on next week’s blog if you missed it.
I must give Noah an extra shout-out as he worked on a really difficult maths problem this morning and could explain his reasoning – I was very impressed!
Thank you to all of you that have been in school this week, whether full-time or part-time. You have all been wonderful.
To all of you, keep up the good work; keep checking the website and our class blog to make sure your are not missing anything (sometimes I may update the blog during the week), and most of all keep safe!
