English – We are beginning to look at warning stories.
What warning stories do you already know? What do you think would be included in a warning story?
The story line hinges around the main character being warned not to go somewhere or do something and disobeying what they are told. This leads to a disaster, rescue and in the end a lesson is learned.
Can you retell the story of Little Red Riding Hood?

Make a list of words and phrases that you are unfamiliar with and look up their meaning.
As you look at the text, what do you like? Is there anything you dislike? Are there any patterns in the story?
Begin to learn the text.
