Have a great weekend Snettisham
Good afternoon everyone,
Hope you’re all enjoying the snow! As always we’ve been very busy in Snettisham getting ready for Christmas. The class are super excited for the big day (as are the staff) As usual, I have attached our Planning in the Moment sheet for you see what we have been up to this week.
Swimming lessons for Group A&B started this week and after a few very brief hesitations from some children they, excuse the pun, took like ducks to water and had a great time. Next Tuesday will be the turn of groups C&D. Please see all information on swimming my previous blog or on Tapestry. I’ll send a reminder on Monday afternoon too.
The children have had a brilliant time sorting through your very kind donations. We really do pride ourselves on our ability to teach the children new things, however, as you can see from the picture below, our conversations on ‘less is more’ haven’t quite sunk in! That being said, it’s their tree and they really loved piling it with more and more tinsel as the week’s progressed.
Elfie the Elf
This week saw the arrival of Elfie. He’s here to keep an eye on us and make sure we’re being kind and well-behaved so he can report it back to Father Christmas. The only problem is Elfie doesn’t always make good choices himself. We discovered him Tuesday morning hanging above our screen. On Wednesday he wanted to make Gingerbread people so we found him creating snow angels in the flour. Have you been visited by an Elf? We’d love to see pictures if you have.
Planning in the Moment
I hope you have a lovely weekend!
