Below you will find Winterton’s Home Learning Timetable (click on link), so if you need to self-isolate you know what to do each day. You can also use the work included in this blog to consolidate or review any learning that we have done in class if you need a reminder.

Monday 30.11.20 – boxing up invented text
Choose your best idea from those 3 you worked on last week. Then you need to box-up your idea ready to use it as a plan to write your invented text later this week.
Spelling: words ending in -able
Here are 2 word searches that includes the relevant words so you can practise and become more confident – Word Search Black and White 1 Word Search Black and White 2 and 2 handwriting sheets – Cursive Handwriting Practice Sheet 1 Cursive Handwriting Practice Sheet 2 so you can have excellent handwriting as well. Do not be hesitant in doing this. You can also put the list words into a sentence – one sentence for each word. Be observant when doing this to make sure you spell the words correctly! If you would like the Powerpoint presentation for this, please email me and I can send it to you.
Tuesday 01.12.20 – today you will focus on editing skills
You need to practise your editing skills so you know what to look for when you edit your own work. The first 2 sheets are easy. Try the 3rd for a challenge!

Wednesday 02.12.20 – today you will be writing your first draft of your invented story and editing it

Part 2 of last week’s lesson. This week you will actually be putting images on your webpage.
Last week you looked at the terms ‘fair use’ and ‘copyright’. This week you use copyright-free images and will find appropriate images to use in your work.

Printing notes: Problems with printing? You won’t need to print anything off if you don’t want to. You can do it all by looking at the work on the computer and taking notes in a notebook.
