You’ve made it to Friday – well done Winterton!

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you are reading this either before or after completing your homework for this week. Another week has finished and only 3 more until Christmas! Well done everyone for working hard again this week – you have all covered a lot during the week. Can you list all the things you have learnt?

Anyway here are the congratulations for this week. Is your name here, if not what can you do to get a mention next week?

Education City

A huge well done to all the people that completed all their work that was set last week – Klevi, Azuolas, Evelyn, Kimberly and Theo and Brodie who have begun their work.  Those who haven’t done it yet; you have until tomorrow to do it.

Tackling Tables

Well done to all those who have gone up to the next level this week – Kai, Kimberley, Grace, Stephanie, Evie, Enija, Evelyn, Lilly-May, Joanna, Erin and Theo. Also to Klevi, who not only went up to the next level, but progressed from green level to red level (the first one in the class to do so)!

Special mentions this week go to Erin, who is proving to be class star in tidying up! To Joanna who has become the ‘self-registration monitor’ doing an important and very useful job for me. Also to Arminas who is certainly the class star in homework, as he has yet again produced an excellent piece of homework for every day this week. Well done Erin, Joanna and Arminas who have gone ‘over and above’.

Speaking of homework – only 5 people didn’t hand in their homework this week – well done the rest of you. A special thank you to those of you that email it to me over the weekend – it is there waiting for me on Monday morning so I can tick your names off on the homework chart. I know it is not possible for all of you to email work, so if you are not able to email me, thank you for putting your work on my desk first thing on Monday so I can see it. Remember, Friday afternoon is not ‘time off’, it is time when you work at home. To know you have done this, I need to see your homework.

Here is some of the homework I have been sent this week:

TESCO Arminas  SCHOOL TRIP Arminas  Arminas 3   Holiday on ICE Arminas  MOUNTAIN CLIMBING_ Grace

News

Swimming will be for group C and D this week.

Christmas news! The Christmas card post box will be out on Monday. To make sure we can quarantine cards, you can only post cards on a Monday and Thursday as we need to leave the cards for 72 hours between posting and delivery. Make sure you bring your cards on a Monday or Thursday as you will not be able to post on any other day. This starts this coming Monday 30th November and will be available every Monday and Thursday up to the end of term.

If you read this far, come and tell me first thing on Monday morning and I will give you a reward.

Have a good weekend and see you all on Monday

Mrs. M
