Foundation Subjects

Topic:

Enquiry: What made the London Frost Fair of 1684 so special?

Last week we completed a time line of London Frost Fair, look at the link to remind you.

Time-line

Two things in particular made the London Frost Fair of 1684 very special.  The first is that out of all of the 24 recorded frost fairs in London the ice in this year was the thickest (28 centimetres  and lasted the longest (nine weeks – more than this term).

Look at the link below can you work out why the second reason why the 1684 Frost Fair was special?

Resource 6

Science:

Watch the BBC bitesize link below then design your own poster about using electricity safely.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zjrrd2p/articles/z96ckqt

Music:

What is your favourite Christmas song? Find the words, learn it and then sing it to your grown up.

DT:

Design your own Tudor house; think about your house you designed last week.

Make a list of the things you would need to make a model of it.

Computing:

Imagine you have been asked to write a class blog page on a topic of your choice.

Design the way it would look. Draw/write it out on a piece of paper.

Have a great week!
