Show your child the example of a VennDiagram. Explain that Venn diagrams are visual organisers and that together you will now organise all the information that you heard from Fireman Jim‘s account with your knowledge of fire-fighters and their equipment today. Guide the to list what they know about old fire engines (for The Great Fire of London) on the left side of the Venn Diagram and list what they know about new fire engines (see links above). Anything they notice which is the same goes in the middle of the diagram.
We’ve been talking about London and finding it together on a map. You could us Google Maps to find it together, along with any other family towns, cities and countries you can think of.

As usual, you will find more learning on Education City and reading on Bug Club and please email me if you have any problems on: a.sellers@gf.kwestacademy.com.
Have a great week,
Mr Sellers
