Cromer Bubble’s Friday Blog, 6th November, 2020
Hello Cromer Bubble,
First week back and lots of work done! Well done!
We’ve been working hard on our Power Maths. The year 6s have been working on fractions, while the year 5s have been working tables and graphs.
In literacy we’ve been working on our non-fiction text. We’ve looked at formality, topic sentences, planning, drafting and writing our final copy!
We started a new topic in science, ‘Light’. we looked at how light is a source of energy and how it travels in straight lines. Take a look at some of our work:
We’ve started new topics in DT and Topic too. They are really interesting.
The following people got full marks in spelling: Kristine, Charlie, Kacie, Jessica, Nicole, Pippa and Kamile.
The following people did really well in tackling tables: Jessica, Nicole, Jack, Pippa, Franky, Kristine, Erica, Preston, Reuben, Emily, Isaac, Annabelle and Kacie.
Kacie got a special mention from Mr. Holmes for swimming – well done!
Although the weather has turned colder, we’ve still been playing outside and having lots of fun!
Zayd found a ladybird!
