Well done Brancaster Bubble!
Once again, this week in Brancaster Bubble we have been working hard.
In English this week, we have started to explore adventure stories. We have been discussing our new text – The Journey to the Lonely Mountain. We have thought about the sequence of the story, what we like and dislike about the text. We have also had our own ideas for how we would change the story if we were the author.
We have spent quite a bit of time this week practising our reading skills whilst learning about the 4 countries in the United Kingdom. Well done to Sonny who was a superstar in our lessons this week and received a positive note home!
Well done to Marcus this week who was named our musician of the week! Well done Marcus.
Swimming – Exciting News for the Year 3/4’s
Swimming will start next week. Our bubble will swim on a Tuesday. We will be swimming in 4 separate groups with children swimming every other week. The swimming groups are shown below.
Your child MUST remember to bring their full kit on their swimming day – a swimming costume or trunks, towel and a swimming hat. We are not able to lend any kit so make sure you have your full kit on the correct days or you won’t be able to swim. Due to Covid19 and social distancing, Mr Holmes and Mrs Smith will not be able to help your child put on their hat and goggles, please practise this at home.
Well done to all the children who have completed homework this week. It has been great to see what you have been up to on a Friday afternoon and over the weekends. The homework grid is at the top of our class blog page!
Please keep sending in your pictures to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Here’s a selection of your work! Well done everyone.
Well done everyone for all your hard work this week. Have a great weekend and keep well and safe.
