Year 1 – In Power maths this week we will be working on Unit 1, lessons 7,8,9 and 10.
We will be comparing groups, comparing number of objects, comparing numbers and ordering numbers and objects. Here is a link to the text book which will help you with this lessons –
Year 2 – In Power Maths this week we will be working on Unit 1, lessons 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

We will be practising sounding out and writing the following words –

We will be writing sentences to include these words.

Log on to Bug Club using your own login. Listen to the story and re-read yourself. Ask an adult to help sound out any words you cannot read. Can you retell an adult what is happening in the book?
In English this week we are continuing to learn our model text – ‘Diary of an Astronaut’.

We are learning to recognise and spell time words – First, Next, Then, After that and Finally. We are starting to highlight different sections of the text – beginning, middle and end and working on sentence structure using capita letters and full stops. We will also be creating our own story map.

In Science this week we are looking at the position of the sun. Have a look at the ppt

In topic this week we are continuing with ‘Helping Our Planet’.
