A Soaring Start for Brancaster Bubble
Brancaster Bubble have had an amazing first week back and a brilliant start to the new term. I am super proud of all the children as they have come back to school with amazing attitudes and have quickly leaned our new rules. We are learning how to work together and to keep each other safe.
Thank you also to all our parents and carers who have been patient and helpful when dropping off and collecting the children.
This week we have spent lots of our time getting to know each other and our new rules. We have talked about worries and strategies we can use if we are worried about anything. Our bubble (with Mrs Moulton’s help) created this amazing display!
We have also spent some time talking about recognising emotions, both in ourselves and in others’. We are learning to become emotionally intelligent! We played some games to see if we could guess how people were feeling then we made emotion faces out of clay.
I have set the children a challenge to see if they can learn the sign language to this song! Good luck!
We have also been practising mindfulness and learning how to be a good listener. Give this a try at home.
Next week we will make a start on our maths, english, science, topic, music, computing and PE lessons.
In English we will be learning about recount texts. Make sure you check our blog on Monday and I will share our new text as well as our class spellings.
Our PE day will be a Thursday so make sure you come to school dressed and ready for PE.
Our topic will also start this week where we will be exploring the United Kingdom. Keep checking our website for updates!
Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see you all on Monday!
