Wells Class – Friday Blog 3-7-20

Hello Wells class,

I hope you have had a good week and are keeping safe. My ‘Bubble group’ in school have enjoyed learning more about pirates and endangered animals from the Home Learning Grids. I hope you have enjoyed learning about these too at home with your parents.

Thank you for all of the photos you have sent me this week – it has been great to see your work and what you have been learning whilst you have been at home. Remember, this can be skills you have been learning at home as well as the work set on the Home Learning Grid. Please send me your photos via email before the Friday and let me know that you are happy for me to share them on our class blog page.

Emilijus has been working hard on adding and subtracting decimals in Power Maths this week – well done, Emilijus!

Pearl has been working hard on her Short Burst Writing about the picture ‘Uprooted’ from Pobble 365. I put the link on our blog on Monday and she used it to do some independent writing. Well done, Pearl – some lovely ideas in your writing!

Theo has been busy doing a variety of home learning – DIY skills with his dad, gardening (growing sunflowers), artwork and Maths. Well done, Theo – it’s great to see what you have been doing in lockdown and all the new skills your parents have been teaching you.

Thank you to all of you who have sent me photos of your work – it’s great to see all the new skills you are learning. Please remember to look out for the new Home Learning Grid on my blog on Monday.

Have a good weekend – take care and stay safe,

Mr Stratton
