Thornham Friday Blog
I can’t believe that it’s Friday already! I hope you have had a great week and looking forward to the weekend.
I have had a very busy enjoyable week in school, teaching the red bubble with Mrs Clark. The children have worked really hard and completed all their learning including learning the story ‘Meerkat Mail’, deciding on actions to help us and learning and writing about some facts about Meerkats.
For those of you at home, keep reading the text either with an adult or by yourself. There are also some great audio versions on utube to watch and listen to.
It has been great hearing about your home learning activities this week – here are just a few notes about what you have been up to!
Bug Club – Well done to Sophie and Nojus – who have been reading lots on Bug Club! They have read all their allocated books and now having a go at reading the next level.
Education City – Lots of you are enjoying your learning on Education City. Well done to Oakley, Jayden, Tommy, Kane, Oscar, Indi G, Mylah, and Sophie who have completed activities this week and scoring at least 80% in their completed tasks. Look out for new activities to try from Monday.
Tackling Tables – Some of you are having a go at learning your times tables which is brilliant. Keep practising so you know the 2,5 and 10 times tables off by heart!
