Brancaster Class – Welcome Back to the second half of the Summer Term
Once again, another very strange start to the new half term. I hope you are all well and that you all had an enjoyable half term break, wasn’t the weather beautiful!
I have been keeping busy helping Mrs Barrett to get everything ready for our reception, year 1 and year 6 children who will be coming back to school. I am hoping that we will all be back very soon and I can’t wait to see all the year 3/4’s, fingers crossed it won’t be much longer.
I have also taken part in a running challenge this week where I had to run 50 miles in 7 days! It’s been tough and my feet are it a bit sore now but I did it! It was a virtual challenge and I am now waiting for my medal to come in the post, I’ll show you a picture when it arrives!
I have been so very proud of you all and the work you are completing at home. Last half term, many of you kept in touch and sent me photographs and even videos of work you’ve been doing it home. I love seeing what you have been up to so please keep them coming!
Hear is your home learning grid for this week. Year 3 and 4 Home Learning Grid. There are lots of fun and interesting activities for you to complete. In history we will be exploring the life of Boudicca, an interesting character who definately persevered! Here’s a song about her from Horrible Histories – it’s one of my favourites!
In English we will be exploring Wishing Tales. Here is a copy of our new text The King of the Fishes.
Don’t forget to check Education City for the new work, it will go live on Monday morning.
Looking forward to seeing all your amazing work.
Stay well and keep safe!
