TRIP DAY! Snettisham and Heacham 15th May 2020
Have you got your lunch? Have you got your coat? Have you been to the toilet?
It’s trip day!
Let’s get on the bus. Really, make sure you’ve been to the loo – it’s a long way to London.
Don’t worry, I’ve got a map for the bus driver. Can you find King’s Lynn?
Here we are at the National History Museum.
It’s a really lovely building, before we even go inside.
Inside, we’re going to have a look at Hope, the blue whale, whose skeleton hangs from the ceiling. Have a look at her life in the ocean, before she came to the museum.
At 1030, the scientists will be here to talk to us about Hope, and if you’ve got any questions, then a grownup can type them into the comments box for you. (If you’re late for this bit, don’t worry, you can catch up on the Natural History Mususem Youtube channel)
When you’ve had a look at Hope and listened to the scientists, you can have a look around the exhibits. It’s a building that is full of interesting things.
Make sure you make time to wash your hands and eat your lunch.
Once you’re finished, we’ll get back on the bus and head for King’s Lynn again.
I hope you had a lovely time!
Take care, and wash your hands again, just in case!
