Hello Sheringham, 11th May 2020
Hey Sheringham class,
Once again you have made me very proud as I have looked at your work over the past week. It is so nice to see what you have been up to. I loved the suspense writing and your work on Roman soldiers, both of which I really miss teaching you! Miss Shaw and myself were thrilled with those that completed electricity work on Education City: Sahara, Mia and Zikra. In addition, Ruby, Aris, Nichita, Marcus, Mohammad and Nichita also completed work on skeletons. I can tell I have a class of Scientists!
Over the past few weeks, I have been sent a few photos of children planting seeds and flowers. This week it was the turn of Rylee, who is growing sunflowers. I wonder how tall they will grow; will they eventually be higher than Rylee himself? We’ll have to wait and see!
I’m sure a number of you saw or took part in family VE Day celebrations. I was sent a picture of Isabel singing Vera Lynns “We’ll meet again” song in Morrisons. I was so disappointed not to hear it in person, having already been to the supermarket that day!
So Sheringham; a new week begins! Here is your learning grid and also your Boxing up grid, in preparation for doing your hot task in Literacy. There are also new activities on Education City linked to Science, Maths and English.
Have a great week! I look forward to seeing how you get on and maybe even hearing how you are doing, if I get a chance to speak with you.
