Home Learning Grid for year 5/6 wb 27th April
Hello Winterton, Cromer, Blakeney and Wells!
So we begin another week. Below is the Learning Grid for week beginning 27th April and underneath that are links to some new websites that look interesting – there should be something for everyone, whatever your interests. Remember we expect you to do your work from the grid but the other websites are there for if would like to do something else as well. Have a look.

Here are some new websites. Have a look and see if there is anything that interests you:
https://www.wild-days.org/ – activities and video for an hour of outdoor learning per day. This week the focus is ‘Shelters’
https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/supermovers – if you like dancing and learning to music, this is the site for you!
https://www.pobble365.com/ – a different image every day with activities to inspire your writing (like the images we use in school at the beginning of a literacy unit).
https://www.natgeokids.com/uk/ – with competitions, games and loads more about the world around us.
https://www.tate.org.uk/kids – things to make (a chocolate painting, marbled paper with foam etc.) games, quizzes and many more interesting and fun things to do. Can you find out more about Kazmir Malevich or Lubaina Himid? You can even ‘paint’ on the site and submit your images to the gallery.
You can timetable your whole day on the internet with:
maths @ 10.00 with Carol Vorderman themathsfactor.com
reading @ 11.00 with david Walliams https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/
lunch with Jamie Oliver https://www.jamieoliver.com/features/category/get-kids-cooking/
music with Myleen Klass https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQh2wgJ5tOrixYBn6jFXsXQ

Whatever work you do, keep safe and keep smiling!
