What a great start to the Summer term! I have heard from lots of you this week and seem some of the fantastic work you have been doing.  Keep sending your emails and photos. I hope you are all enjoying completing the activities on the Home Learning Grids, remember just do what you can when you can.

Well done to those who have been having a go at the tasks on Education City, Tackling Tables and keeping up with your reading on Bug Club. Reading is really important so keep it up!

English

This week I have planned some Talk 4 Writing tasks as well as spellings.  You will need to look at the model text ‘ Way Back Home’ – see attached below.  Ask an adult to help you read and learn the text.  Have a look at my story map too, this will give you ideas when you do yours.

Also here is a list of the 100 high frequency words that you might like to keep practising reading.  Knowing these will help you to read more fluently.  When you can read them all, maybe have a go at spelling them.

Power Maths

Continue with the power maths lessons and have a go at the tackling tables you only need to look at the 2,5 and 10 times tables for now.
