Winterton blog for Friday 24.4.20
On logging in to write today’s blog I noticed that I did not publish yesterday’s blog on Winterton class page – many apologies. I have updated it now, but you will see yesterday’s and today’s at about the same time.
Anyway, my news. We now have baby squirrels in the garden(4) and another of the adult females in pregnant so I expect to see more babies sometime soon – very exciting! I am still feeding them every morning and they are becoming quite tame. The pregnant mum always arrives first and has a good feed. Then the others come to eat and play, running around and chasing each other. Very cute.
I have found some really good websites that I will publish with next week’s Home Learning Grid. We expect you to do the work on the grid so you keep up with school learning, but these websites are for activities that you can do to stop you getting bored. You can timetable them throughout the day with school work in between. Watch out for the Home Learning Grid at some point over the weekend for more details.
As I said in yesterday’s blog; please get in touch. I miss you all and would love to hear how you are getting on. Are you and your families well? What have you been doing? Send photos of work, activities whatever. Just get in touch via my email.
Have a lovely weekend and I’ll be back on Monday
