Winterton Wake Up!
Good morning Winterton
… and welcome to the summer term. I hope you all had a lovely Easter break – some pictures of what you got up to or pictures of your Easter eggs would be lovely. I didn’t have any eggs this year (the first time ever) but I’m sure I’ll make up for it next year. My family did manage to meet up on Easter Day via Zoom, which was lovely. Even though my parents live quite close to me they are in isolation so I haven’t seen them since Mother’s Day – quite a while. I am finding this shut-down quite difficult now, are you? I have started a list of the things that I want to do as soon as we get back to normal:
- hug my daughter and my parents
- see the sea
- visit London for the weekend
- spend time in Norwich
What will you do?
Anyway back to work.
This is a brand new resource launched today! It is part of the bbc.bitesize website and it has set lessons set for each day. I have looked at it and if you find it hard to work to a timetable, it is particularly useful. It is well-worth looking at and I would love you to let me know how you get on. You should have this week’s Home Learning Grid, and Ms. Black has put up the resources for the topic this week. I think the Home Learning Grid may look a little different next week – I want to work on it this week to make it easier to read and also to begin Talk for Writing unit for this half term. Let me know what you would find useful to be included and what you think isn’t that useful. This will help me to improve it.
Thank you to Hette for her trampoline video – she certainly is having a lot of fun and keeping fit.
So tasks for you this week:
- send pictures and messages from you Easter break
- think about how you think the Home Learning Grid could be improved
- send me your timetables so I can see how you are organising your time
- let me know what you are looking forward to doing when we are back to normal
- keep safe and keep smiling!
Until tomorrow, take care
