EYFS/KS1Beginning week two!
It’s another week of staying at home. (Even for me, I’m not in school until next week.)
This is the learning grid for KS1, and I’ll add the EYFS one later. They will also be on the home page as well.
As you can see, there’s plenty to do to keep you learning and stop the “I’m bored!” words!
There’s also Joe Wicks at 0930 – and I’m really pleased that I did 3 days out of 5 last week. This week I’m aiming for 4 days out of 5, and some yoga. Yesterday I did We’re going on a bear hunt.
This one might be my new favourite!
In our science this week we are looking at sound and there is a great BBC Bitesize clip with Seymour Science which explains how sound works.
One of your tasks today is an indoor listening time. Right now I can hear…
- the tv (BBC Breakfast news)
- the puppy chewing on his toy.
- cars going past outside our window.
- the washing machine
- my own breathing
I’ll have another listen later and let you know what I can hear then.
I’ll also be looking for some children’s books to read. Sam is too big for picture books (he says!) and so I don’t think I have any at home, but I will look a bit harder. If not, I’ll get some when I go into school next week and record some stories for you. I love reading stories with you all, and I’m missing that a lot.
Later on, I’ll be putting up some photos from Frankie in Snettisham and Hattie in Heacham who’ve been doing lots of different activities. Let me know if you’ve got a message for anyone or a photo to go up.
I’ll check in later,
Take care (and wash your hands!)
