Blakeney Blog Day 5
Good morning Blakeney class!
Eductation City News
you’ve been very patient waiting for Education City and I’m pleased to say that it is ready to roll! There is a new link for it: https://go.educationcity.com/. Just log in with the login details we gave you before school closed. You can try Live Play if you want to play against your class mates or you can explore the wide range of activities available. The learn screens are very useful as they explain and teach what you need to know in order to be successful at the activities, so don’t miss those! I will be setting some weekly activities for you to have a go at later today – you can have a go at those and I will able to track your progress from my home. Nikola and Madalin, there are some excellent EAL activities and learn screens on the Learn English section of the site. Take a look!
I hope you had a chance to listen to David Walliams reading one of his stories yesterday. Today, he’s reading Hank’s Pranks – just click below to listen, then email me to let me know what you thought of it – I will share your comments in this blog tomorrow:
TIME CAPSULE PROJECT
If you have already checked out the learning grid for this week, you will have seen in the column for ‘arts’ that you can make a scrap book of your observations and experiences during these historic moments around the world. Record what you see, hear, feel and think as events evolve. We will then put it all together when we return to school and bury it for future generations to discover and learn from!
Take care and keep fit and healthy!
