Holkham Chocoholics!

Holkham Class have started this half-term with an introduction to the history of chocolate as part of our ’10° North and South of the Equator’ topic focus. After revisiting last half-terms focus where we were learning about various rainforests around the globe, we began discussing chocolate, considering what we already know about the sweet treat and what we would like to find out. After that, we all had the opportunity to taste dark, milk and white chocolate and feedback on their taste, smell and texture. We created an impressive word bank with adjectives such as, creamy, sweet, bitter, soft, firm and grainy.
