We’ve been busy recently!
We have had a busy few weeks in Winterton class – on the 16th Jan. Paul Sturgess visited (the tallest basketball player in the world!) to talk to us about never giving up on your dreams and working hard to achieve your goals.
Some children also went to take part in a swimming gala at St. James on 22nd Jan. Well done to Daniel who got through to the next round and came second – excellent swimming Daniel!
Last Friday all the year 5/6 classes went back in time to WW2 to solve the puzzle of who was the German spy. We visited King’s Lynn Museum and the Stories of Lynn to discover more about WW2 as a launch of our topic this term.
We made rag rugs…
We examined WW2 artefacts…
We even tried on a WW2 helmet!
We made delicious potato ‘chocolate’ truffles.
Some of us even dressed up.
Thank you to all those parents who made such an effort with costumes – your children looked wonderful!
So, can you guess who the spy was?
