The week ahead 26th November 2018

This week is a bit complicated, but it will all be fine!

In Literacy we will come to the end of our work on Gordon and his Great Escape, by writing our own story with escapes in.  The children can use Gordon, or they can invent a character of their own.  Towards the end of the week we will focus on comprehension of a story, and how we can really think about the events that happened in it.

In Numeracy we will be taking a break from numbers and looking at shapes.  We will be making and drawing pictures with them, classifying them, sorting and organising them, and guessing which shape is in the bag!

Monday – It’s me all day!

Tuesday – Miss Shaw in the afternoon whilst I am on a Maths course

Wednesday – Miss Shaw in the morning whilst I am planning.

Thursday – Ms Nixon whilst I am on Day 3 of a course (Days 1 and 2 were the INSET days in October)

Friday – Miss Shaw whilst I am on Day 4 (and the last day!) of a course.

As usual, you can contact me on my email address, even when I am on courses, and I will answer as soon as I can. (scook5nrx@nsix.org.uk)
