The week ahead – 8th October 2018
This week is going to be amazing.
Monday – in the afternoon, we have another job visitor, who is going to talk about running her own business and baby signing. We have PE in the morning as usual. I’ll also be sending home the homework from last Friday, which didn’t go home because of Cross Country.
Tuesday – 14 of the year 2 children are going with me and Mrs Wiggs to Lynnsport to take part in ActiveKids. There will be other opportunities in the year to take anyone who doesn’t go this time, and we prioritised those who didn’t get a chance to go in year 1. Mrs Copsey will lead the class in the morning. Please send your forms back on Monday if you haven’t already. Swimming and Art as usual in the afternoon with Mrs Shaw.
Wednesday – Our final rehearsal for the KWEST launch. We’ll be singing “Keep the Home Fires Burning” and “Could it be Magic” by Queen, although the words have been slightly altered.
Thursday is just Thursday!
Friday is the KWEST launch at LynnSport. The buses will leave at 0915, and we will have an amazing morning with 6 other schools, celebrating becoming part of the MAT and all of the opportunities that this provides us with!
Looking ahead to the week after, I can’t believe that it’s going to be half term break on Thursday! This half term has gone really quickly! We will be having parent’s evening on the Monday and Tuesday as well, so watch out for the letters coming home.
If I can answer any questions, please email me email@example.com
I’ll leave you with some pictures from Friday, from the Cross Country. I was so proud of everyone who tried so hard to run all the way!
